Terms of Service

By using our website or scheduling service with SoCal Appliance Repair Pros ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
We provide residential and commercial appliance repair, maintenance, and installation services in the Los Angeles area. Services are performed at the customer's location by appointment only.
2. Diagnostic Fee
All service calls are subject to a $85 diagnostic fee. This fee covers the technician's visit and diagnosis of the appliance. If you approve the repair on the same visit, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the total repair cost — making the diagnosis effectively free with any completed repair. If no repair is approved, only the diagnostic fee applies. You have 30 days to reconsider and schedule the repair at no additional diagnostic charge.
3. Estimates and Pricing
After diagnosing your appliance, our technician will provide a written estimate before beginning any repair work. You are under no obligation to proceed with the repair. Prices shown on our website are estimates only and may vary based on parts availability and labor required.
4. Warranty
We provide a 30-day warranty on all labor and a 90-day warranty on all parts we install. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period due to our workmanship or a defective part, we will return and correct it at no charge. Warranty does not cover:
- New or unrelated issues that develop after the repair
- Damage caused by misuse, power surges, or unauthorized repairs
- Appliances that have been modified or previously subjected to DIY repair attempts
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash and all major credit cards. We do not collect payment through our online booking form — payment occurs only after service is completed.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We ask that you provide at least 2 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a trip fee for future bookings.
7. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at our discretion, including situations involving unsafe working conditions, hostile behavior, or appliances that are beyond economical repair.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific repair performed. We are not liable for secondary damages, data loss, food spoilage, property damage unrelated to our work, or consequential damages of any kind.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
